I professionally deal with translations since 1996. I permanently cooperate on a permanent basis with the leading translation agencies in Krakow and also with other kinds of clients. I specialize in translation of texts connected with business and corporate operations (law, business contracts, advertising and promotion), however, in my portfolio there are also many technical and some literary translations. I also translate various types of administrative documents (e.g. marriage and birth certificates, registration certificates, medical certificates, school certificates, university/college diplomas/transcripts, and other).

In February 1999 I was appointed a Certified (Sworn) Translator at the Regional Court in Krakow. Currently, according to the provisions of the Certified (Sworn) Translator's Profession Act, I am registered under number TP/2969/05 on the List of Certified (Sworn) Translators kept by the Minister of Justice.

My offer includes certified (sworn) and standard translations. Certified (sworn) translation is a special kind of translation, prepared or certified with the use of stamp by certified (sworn) translator, who becomes such by virtue of appointment by the Minister of Justice, and becomes a person of public trust. The stamp held by certified (sworn) translator is a special stamp given to him by the Polish State Mint upon the Minister of Justice's application. Certified (sworn) translations are documents accepted by state and local authorities, public offices, courts, companies in bid proceedings etc.. Often it is an obligatory condition to approve such documents as valid, when they are submitted to most of Polish public offices (e.g. in case of car registration proceedings).

Principles of preparing certified (sworn) translations are defined by the Act of 25th November 2004 on Certified (Sworn) Translator's Profession, (J.L. no. 273, item 2702), which specifies basic principles of preparing certified (sworn) translations.

Certified (sworn) translation should be issued in a printed form with affixed stamp and may be delivered to Client by courier, mail, may be collected in person or sent in an electronic form (scans, e.g. PDF format).
